It was a long time ago I last saw a trailer that impressed me as much as Panos Cosmatos sci-fi(?) flick Beyond the Black Rainbow did. Visually it reminds me of THX 1138 mixed with a large dose of Stanley Kubrick and some Alejandro Jodorowsky. All draped in the beautiful colors of the VHS and real synthesizers from the 80′s.
Jeff Nichol’s excellent apocalyptic-horror-drama Take Shelter, starring the brilliant Michael Shannon, dethrones Drive from my top-three-list of best movies of 2011.
I’ve added some brands I’ve been working with the past six moths to the about page. In the case of L’Oréal I’ve worked with their own brands such as Matrix, Garnier, Professionel, Redken.

A week ago The Dieline presented the 100 best works of 2011. The list contains loads of great packaging. Check it out. I need a bottle of Kraken rum by the way.
The norwegian documentary Tears of Gaza is probably one of the most touching movies I’ve ever seen. I won’t get into politics nor religion – not here. It’s on Youtube and P2P. See it for yourselves. Now is a good time.

Two days ago we could see a new trailer for Christoffer Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises, yesterday the first teaser for Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit and tomorrow the trailer for Ridley Scott’s Prometheus. The little movie nerd inside me is dancing. It’s all going on at iTunes Movie Trailers.
